Additional Scholarship Opportunities

The following scholarship opportunities are provided to Algoma School District graduating students from businesses and community members. They are administered and processed by the Algoma Area Education Foundation, Inc.

KRIS FULWILER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Kris Fulwiler Memorial Scholarship is a $4,000 award for graduating Algoma High School seniors pursing post-secondary education. Established in memory of lifelong Algoma resident Kris Fulwiler, the scholarship reflects her passion for supporting students and continuing her commitment to helping young people in the community achieve their academic goals.

JOHN & GAIL HAACK FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

The John & Gail Haack Family Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship supporting AHS seniors pursuing higher education. This scholarship was established in honor of the Haack family’s contributions to the Algoma Area Education Foundation.

NORMA MUELLER & MARGE CURTIN SCHOLARSHIP

The Norma Mueller and Marge Curtin Memorial Fund provides a $1,000 scholarship to support a deserving student planning to pursue post-secondary education.

THE BOB JUNIO SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Bob Junio Fund offers a $1000 scholarship, paid in two $500 installments, to a worthy high school senior planning to attend a technical school for the trade of electrician, plumber, or heating and cooling.

MUSKRAT CITY SPORTSMAN'S CLUB

The Muskrat City Sportsman’s Club Scholarship is offering a one-time scholarship of $750 to a worthy Algoma High School Senior planning to attend a two- or four-year institution. Preference is given to students pursuing studies in Natural Resources or Agriculture, but applicants in other fields are also welcome to apply.

KEWAUNEE COUNTY TAVERN LEAGUE

The Kewaunee County Tavern League sponsors a scholarship in the amount of $750 to an Algoma High School student.
