About Algoma Library Friends

Algoma Library Friends (ALF) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Algoma Public Library. The group raises funds for items and programs that fall outside the library’s regular budget while also volunteering their time to assist with library initiatives. Donations from ALF have helped provide resources such as technology, program supplies, display materials, and children’s learning tools. Through their efforts, ALF helps strengthen library services, encourage literacy, and support learning opportunities for the Algoma community.
