Our Impact
Every student deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
At the Algoma Area Education Foundation, we believe investing in education means more than providing scholarships. From supporting students as they pursue their goals beyond high school to helping create meaningful learning experiences, we're committed to making a difference throughout their educational journeys.

Supporting Students
Beyond High School
Scholarships have long been an important part of AAEF's work. By helping students pursue education and training after graduation, we're investing in their goals and the futures they're working toward.
AAEF also supports opportunities for students to earn college credits while still attending high school, helping them get a head start on their next chapter.

Creating Opportunities
Beyond Scholarships
Education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It's also about building friendships, discovering new interests, and finding a sense of belonging.
In 2025, AAEF contributed $1,000 to the Bridges of Kewaunee County Friendship Development Program, which connects students from Algoma, Kewaunee, and Luxemburg-Casco. The funding helped make community outings possible, including trips to the movies, restaurants, and an end-of-year ice cream social.
It's one example of how AAEF supports meaningful experiences for students beyond traditional scholarships.
Looking Ahead
We're always exploring ways to strengthen educational opportunities for Algoma students.
As AAEF looks toward the future, we hope to expand our support for innovative learning experiences and find new ways to help the educators who make those experiences possible.
Our mission is rooted in collaboration, and we believe there's even more we can accomplish together.
